VENUE

The International Conference on Numerical Optimization and Applications (ICONOA 2026) will take place from 26 to 28 May 2026 at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Computer Science, Abdelhamid Ibn Badis University of Mostaganem (Algeria).

The university campus is located in the heart of Mostaganem, a coastal city on the Mediterranean Sea, about 80 km east of Oran and 360 km west of Algiers. The campus is easily accessible from different parts of the city and well connected to the main transport hubs.

How to reach Mostaganem

By air: The nearest international airport is Ahmed Ben Bella Airport (Oran – ORN), located about 80 km from Mostaganem (approximately 1h15 by car). Taxis, private shuttles, and intercity buses are available from Oran to Mostaganem.

By car: Mostaganem is connected to the national highway network. From Oran, take the East–West motorway (A1) and follow the signs to Mostaganem.

By bus: Regular intercity buses link Mostaganem to major Algerian cities including Algiers, Oran, Tlemcen, and Chlef.

Directions to the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Computer Science

The conference will be hosted at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Computer Science campus of Abdelhamid Ibn Badis University.

From Mostaganem city center: The campus is about 10 minutes by taxi.

From Mostaganem bus station: The campus is around 15 minutes away. Local taxis and buses are available.

For international participants, shuttle services from Oran Airport to the conference venue may be arranged by the organizers (details will be announced later).

The campus is located near hotels, restaurants, and the seaside, making it convenient for participants to combine academic sessions with cultural experiences.
